In addition to being important symbols of historic gathering and trade, the Red and Assiniboine Rivers in Winnipeg are sites of profound violence and environmental degradation. Performing under the moniker B.P., artist Bret Parenteau will present new sound work at the edge of the Assiniboine River near where it meets with the Red to reflect upon the histories and knowledge represented by this site.
